Post operative recommendations:
- After local anaesthesia one tends to have retarded reactions and should not drive! Arrange for someone to pick you up from our clinic!
- Operations can cause some swelling. Cool the swelling with cool packs up to 48 hours after operation
- In case of pain medication will be prescribed by your dentist / surgeon
- One should drink and eat only after effects of anaesthesia have disappeared. Avoid mastication in the operated area
- To avoid complications please do not smoke on the day of the operation. Avoid hot drinks and those which may increase blood-pressure: i.e. tea, coffee, alcohol, Coca Cola etc.
